Borinox alternatives?

on Mon Sep 18, 2017 12:29 pm
Hi guys,

I'm looking for alternatives for Borinox. It is a process in which stainless steel is hardened by diffusion. They use alloys such as nickel and cobalt chromium. You can read more about Borinox here. However, the company that uses Borinox is based in Germany and it would be great if there were alternatives in the U.S.

We are interested in using Borinox for various applications but it's most interesting for our piping and fittings because they're exposed to higher risk of corrosion due to being in contact with water all the time.

If there are no alternatives to Borinox in the U.S. I'll contact the German company.

Best wishes.
