Oh no! pale

That is not good news at all.
Would it be ok, if I were to ask why the sudden close of the forum?
It has such potential! :/

There is no real reason, really, things just didn't work out for us. Smile

I wouldn't say the closure is sudden, a sword of Damocles been hanging over us for a while now and we just couldn't avoid it. Somehow, this topic, 'graphic design' integrated into a forum community is not really blooming. We couldn't get aspiring artists, hobbyist or amateurs interested in the topic to join us, no real conversations were going on. There was a point when it had to be realized there is no future in what we have now and we should not invest more time into this project.

It was fun while it lasted, even if we never had a golden era, since things were the whole time super quiet. Smile

I am sorry regarding the sudden comment xD
It was more so a shock when I had seen the announcement regarding the closing.
I could have sworn I heard that "shock zinger" noise from horror movies sound off when it scrolled across.
I didn't get much time to adjust here, I am not much of a graphic artist, though it was something that I wouldn't have mind getting tips on here and there to practice from time to time.

Though, with everything being said.
I do hope that in the next community that is formed you guys have a bit of better luck regarding drawing (no art pun intended) in a larger community, it is evident you guys put work into the forum and it just needs that awe discovery from people who come across it.

I don't want to sound mean when I say the graphic arts forum community has become a bit saturated, but it is a popular topic and everyone sorta jumps on it it seems.

Here's to Graphic Balloon and it's Staff and their future endeavors!
