Do you keep your files tidy?

Or are you like this? Smile

I'm worse, many times the file names I create make no sense. Smile Random letters and things, and later on when I want to find something I blame myself for the mess.

When I start a project, I always tell myself to keep it organized. But when I'm done it is mostly a mess of all kind of files in one project folder. When I finally have a project finished and it is organized, I'm so proud of myself.

I follow a standard folder structure and file name convention for my projects. I also use simple backup system for versioning.

So everyone organizes their files at least a little bit. I feel lazy and bad now.

I usually number multiple images, and keep them in their respective folders, but once I flatten them I like to put an "-f" at the end. When it comes to somethings though it's a COMPLETE mess, my JavaScript folder for example. I have folders at the top to organize the scripts, but I haven't done that in months.. I just throw random scripts I write in there when I'm done with them. xD

I try to keep them as organized as I can. I need to put names on them that make sense with the file in hand and sometimes I am too lazy to move them so I keep them in that one big folder. I organized them the other day and I may need to do it again later. I love to organize sometimes and I like everything organized.
